Policy implementation and clinical practice audit

Although many organisations have high quality policies organisations need assurance that policies are being implemented and standards are maintained. Infection Matters Limited will audit the infection prevention control standards pertaining to the environment and facilities where care is provided. We will use nationally validated audit tools. Clinical practice is audited in line with standards set out in The Health and Social Care Act 2008: Code of Practice on the prevention and control of infections and related guidance (2015).
