Confident and competent staff are vital for delivery of a high quality immunisation service. The basis for these attributes lie in a high level of knowledge and regular updates; maintaining current knowledge of vaccine preventable disease epidemiology and vaccination programmes.

Immunisation education and training can be provided for all levels of staff, and services users, in your organisation. Infection Matters Limited has experience of delivering programmes for new and current immunisers. Programmes will comply with National Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Immunisation Training for Registered Healthcare Practitioners and Immunisation training for healthcare support workers: national minimum standards and core curriculum.

Fundamentals of Immunisation for new immunisers – 2 day course
General Immunisation Update (year round) – half/full day course
Influenza immunisation programme training (usually pre season) –  half day
Supervisor workshop – half day course
